What is a Satisfaction Trial Warranty?

If you are not completely satisfied with your Kumho tire you can exchange it with a different Kumho tire model within 30 days of purchase at the same store.

1. Covered Products and Program Duration

The program period will be from 01/01/2023 to 31/12/2026 as date of purchase receipt. Products covers a complete set of four or more PS71suv, PS71, PS91, HP71, AT52, Foam & EV tires. But TBR, commercial and competition tires will not be covered.

2. Special Satisfaction Trial Warranty Period

It is 30 days from the date of the purchase invoice of Kumho Tire brand. Consumers should keep the original purchase invoice of tires, in accordance with your name and when necessary, present it. The customer must also present a warranty card. The Kumho Satisfaction Trial Warranty is only valid for purchased tire. The tires replaced by the special program will no longer have the special coverage.

3. How to register the Satisfaction Trial Warranty?

If you are not completely satisfied with your Kumho Tire you can exchange it with a different Kumho Tire model within 30 days. The consumer must register the tire online in Kumho Saudi website and keep the purchase invoice printed with the date of purchase and in its name to be used as evidence (the same retail store from which the tire was purchased). In the case of exchanging for another product, the difference is paid by the customer if a difference occurs due to a higher price than the existing product. Special Warranty will not be Included the fee of exchange service balancing and Alignment, etc. Tires measuring more than 1/32 inch (0.8mm) of tread wear from original tread depth are excluded from Satisfaction Trial Warranty. The Kumho Special Satisfaction Trial Warranty Program may terminate at any time upon notice from Kumho Tire.

4. When and Where there is no Special Warranty Coverage (Satisfaction Trial Coverage)

It may not be applicable when used in industrial, construction/agriculture/racing/competition/off-road [And the same goes for the content below] Damage caused by vandalism. Tire used with inadequate pressure. The case is passed over 30 days after purchase (date printed on the invoice). Failure to prove purchase (not keeping the invoice). Service (assembly, balancing and alignment) should be performed at the same place where tires were purchased. Tires were not purchased by the original consumer, or invoice on behalf of third parties. Fines, citations, or traffic tickets will not be covered under any conditions. Mounting, balancing or alignment will not be covered. Damage caused to the vehicle or to third parties.

5. Tire Replacement Process

The excluding all costs such as assembly alignment, balancing, etc. Our resellers should use the program form of Kumho warranty card. Program form must be fully completed with customer vehicle and tire details. A copy of the purchase invoice must be attached to the form. This warranty may be terminated at any time by notice from Kumho. Warranty may be suspended when checking abuse misuse cases. Original purchaser pays the amounts due on another new replacement tire, less the amount of credit, including applicable taxes, mounting, and balancing charges and/or the cost of other services ordered from Satisfaction Trial Warranty. Survey must be completed by the customer to qualify. Lack of completed survey can result in disqualification of Warranty.

What is a Special Road Hazard Warranty?

In case of damage by obstacles on the road such as potholes and gutters, we will replace it with the same Kumho tire model within 150 days of purchase at the same store.

It is 150 days from the date of the purchase invoice of Kumho Tire brand. Consumer should keep the original purchase invoice of tires, in accordance with your name and when necessary, present it. The customer must also register the tire in KUMHO Saudi website (www.kumhosaudi.com/register your tire) with all required details. The Kumho Special Road Hazard Warranty is only valid for purchased tire. The tires replaced by the special program will no longer have the special coverage your warranty being within the normal five-year coverage standard, covering technical manufacturing failures, materials and / or qualitative defects.

In case the tire is accidentally damaged within 150 days, the consumer must present the purchase invoice printed at the same retail store from which the tire was purchased. Kumho brand and obtain the dealer report if the damage will be repairable or if the tire will be replaced by a new tire. Special Warranty will not be included the fee of exchange service balancing and alignment, etc.

5. Tire Replacement Process (the same tire)

The amount of compensation will be the final price stated in the purchase invoice, excluding all costs such as assembly, alignment, balancing, etc. Program form must be fully completed in online (Kumho Saudi website) with customer vehicle and tire details. A copy of the purchase invoice must be uploaded in the website form form. The tire of the same model and size as the one on the purchase invoice must be replaced. Distributor does not have the same size and product; customer should discuss it with Kumho Tires measuring more than 2/32 inch (1.6mm) of tread wear from original tread depth are excluded from Road Hazard Warranty. This warranty may be terminated at any time by notice from Kumho.

5-YEARS (from the date of manufacturing)

The original customers & owner or user who use any tire manufactured by Kumho is covered by Kumho tire warranty policy

This policy applies to the original owner or user of any new tire manufactured by Kumho Tires. Eligible tires must be used in vehicle with which they were originally installed according the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendation.

What is covered by warranty policy?

- Kumho tires warranty policy is only cover defects in materials or workmanship in normal use on the vehicle. But, Eligible tires must be used on the vehicle on which they were originally installed according to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendation. (Loading capacity, Air pressure and so on).

What is not covered by warranty policy?

• Any tire worn beyond the wear bars (less than 1.6mm remaining tread)
• Out of warranty period.
• Tire damage or irregular wear due to:
  • Road hazard, including puncture, cut, impact break, bulge, snag,​ stone drill, collision
  • Continued sue while run flat or under acute unter-inflation.
  • improper use or operation, overloading etc.
  • Uneven or rapid wear which is caused by mechanical irregularity in the vehicle such as misalignment
  • Already compensated product.

Customer's Obligations

• The customer should present the claim tire, together with​ the vehicle on which it was used, to an authorized Kumho retail tire dealer.
• The cost of mounting, balancing, and any other service charges or applicable taxes are payable by the customer.

Note

The amount of credit will be determined by the % of​ original tread depth remaining on the tire.
